Fusion Dance invites a meeting of all dance styles,

led by our connection with our partner & the music! No set steps.

An embodied conversation, discovering our shared language in this moment.

3 hours to lab your partner dancing! Guided explorations offered throughout. 3 spaces, so you can choose to rest, dance, exchange ideas, make discoveries, get feedback, etc - anytime.

The space is open 3-6pm, join and leave anytime! Donation: $10-$60

The studio space is a soft floor - barefoot, socks, very soft dance shoes only.

I will be guiding explorations throughout the Lab, adapting to the interests & experience of the group! I welcome anyone interested to offer explorations or practices as well.

Explorations may include topics of embodied communication, tone, frame, musicality, walking, footwork, efficient movement, clarity of movement, the connected body, leading, following, emergent creativity, specific characterisitics of individual dance traditions, mode switching, groove, lag, stretch, etc. I offer my ongoing learnings from spaces for Fusion, Microfusion, Blues, West Coast Swing, Tango, Zouk, Kizomba, Bachata, Contemporary partnering, Hip Hop improvisation, as well as from my primary practices, Contact Beyond Contact and Contact Improvisation.

I will play a range of music supporting different styles and welcome your favorites!
